I engaged Tim to design a set of bespoke pool steps, following a recommendation from a friend who had Tim build some gates for them. After a site visit and draft design works, Time set about to build the most perfect steps that fitted like a glove. He designed, built, fitted and installed them on time and to budget. It is so refreshing to work with a truly professional Craftsman. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Tim at Metaldreams enough. I came to his workshop in a panic about an arch for a show garden with very vague ideas of what I needed and no idea how to get there. He has coached me patiently to complete my project and I have thoroughly enjoyed the process and my time at the forge. Tim's relaxed nature and craftsmanship are an asset to any project, he makes metalwork look easy, which I have now learnt with my own two hands it most definitely is not!

I have worked with Tim at Metal dreams Blacksmiths on two corporate projects at a recent office refurbishment. One design based and another a sensitive restoration piece. On both projects Tim was very professional in his approach, listened to the brief, questioned to ensure he understood and then gave clear timescales of the expected work. Tim supplied regular updates on progress, provided good clear information around changes to supplier costs in raw materials. The restoration of the external Lamp was absolutely superb and I cannot fault it.
On the design work, we wanted a bespoke sign hanger. Tim was very supportive in listening to the design, what we wanted and took time to understand why we wanted the design, the branding, colours to make sure he got what the brand energy was. His design was exactly what we had in mind but we couldn’t explain it well enough. It was just superb, both in terms of creativity, design flair and understanding the brief.
